My wife, Sara, gave me a book on Keith Haring this past Valentine’s Day. This painting was inspired by Keith’s “Cruella De Vil” painting. I think my version is not too far fetched. Which is worse? Beheading a puppy or beheading a human being because they are Christian? Or lighting them on fire because they don’t believe your beliefs? Only moments away before that happens in this painting. One might be nuts to go into law enforcement these days, not knowing whose going to walk up from behind and unload a clip only because of the uniform. God bless the men & women in blue!! Even when the PC folks want to take God out and off of everything. Hence the words “In God We Trust” fading out on the shield. Worked well taking God out of our schools and all the shootings in them that followed. Now they want to take our guns away. Don’t think they want to disarm Americans? I totally agree with what Thomas Jefferson said, and he was a very smart & wise man brother, “No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.” Jefferson also said, “The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” Since we won’t protect our national borders like we should and the Washington folks think it’s wise to let in refugees that mean us harm,  I prefer to keep my guns, and for that matter, my head. America’s freedom was hard fought for and no doubt a blessing from God, at least in my mind. So, to all the Cruella De Vil’s, that’s me in the plane, best get stepping.
